Packing Again

In case you do not know, I love to travel! Last year was an exceptional year for my wanderlust. I was constantly packing a suitcase, and I absolutely loved it. Miss April was less than thrilled to always be saying goodbye, but she never wants me to miss a chance see the world.

Here are a few snap shots from some of my adventures in 2011:

England: Sheep at Hadrian's Wall and Waddesdon Manor

Berlin, Germany: Funky hostel and the Sony Center

Honolulu, Hawaii: Set of keys on a submarine in Pearl Harbor, coastline near Hanauma Bay, and the Hawaiian story of genesis at the Bishop Museum

Juliette, GA: Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe

Montreal, Canada: Candles at Notre Dame Cathedral and autumn leaves at Parc de Mont-Royale

Beijing, China: Traditional tea tasting and love locks at the Great Wall

I find myself, yet again, packing my bags, but this is for a more personal excursion. I am heading to the west coast of Florida to embark on a month long therapy retreat. I've been dealing with depression and anxiety for a long time. I'm excited to take control of my life - spiritually and emotionally. The program features daily meditation, yoga, tai chi, and lectures by the sea. Expect updates on my progress, and a taste of the wisdom I glean. I leave tomorrow!

  1. Amazing pictures of amazing places:)

  2. Best of luck on this next adventure. It will not be easy, but the rewards will be fabulous.
